Jes Staley, a former top executive at JPMorgan, allegedly exchanged emails with Epstein referencing young women and discussing Epstein’s activities. One email included a photo of a young woman. Staley denies knowing about or witnessing any illegal activity.
The lawsuits claim JPMorgan Chase should have been aware of Epstein’s criminal behavior due to suspicious transactions and internal reports. Allegations include large cash withdrawals, transfers to Eastern European countries, and payments to women identified as victims in Epstein’s criminal case. The plaintiffs argue the bank failed to adequately investigate these red flags and continued to profit from Epstein’s business.
