Parallel to this, the government is lowering standards for military recruitment, effectively expanding the pool of potential soldiers. Simultaneously, there’s a push to normalize military service among young people, including considering the reintroduction of compulsory military service.
Beyond direct military recruitment, the government is fostering a culture of militarism through education and youth programs. This includes encouraging participation in youth camps with military components and promoting a positive image of the military in schools.
