Today, I felt like sharing a bit about the story behind this logo. This logo was a logo I made a few years back for a segment on David Pakman’s show called “Hatriot Mail.” Hatriot Mail is a segment in which a narrator dramatically reads hate mail that David Pakman receives. A few years ago, David Pakman asked in one of his segments for viewers with artistic skill to create a logo for Hatriot Mail so that it can be included in a calendar. I had just started college at the time when this announcement was made. Feeling artistic, I opened up Microsoft Paint, and in about 5 to 10 minutes, I completed the logo. I submitted it to David Pakman via email, and the rest was history. From then on, not only was my logo included in a calendar, but it has also appeared as the backdrop for a couple of Hatriot Mail segments. Not only that, but a few years after the contest, the logo was touched up a bit and included on a shirt.

I thought this was a cool story to share. I did not think much at the time about how my logo would be used. In hindsight, I find it pretty cool that it’s been used on a shirt, included in a calendar, and has a appeared in a number of David Pakman segments.
