Edge of Reason: Tampa Shooting

The Tampa Police Department is investigating an incident involving a man who was shot in the leg at the “Everybody’s on the Edge” gas station, a location known for attracting large crowds late at night and early in the morning. The shooting occurred around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Police responded to a call reporting the shooting and found the victim, whose injuries were not life-threatening. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Initial reports indicate that a large crowd was present at the gas station when an altercation led to the shooting.

Authorities are currently working to identify the shooter and determine the circumstances that led to the incident. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses who were present at the scene. The gas station, located at Nebraska and Waters, has a history of large gatherings, prompting increased police presence in the area.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Tampa Police Department is urging anyone with information related to the shooting to come forward and assist with their efforts. The increased police presence at the location will likely continue as the investigation progresses and to deter future incidents.
