Israel’s military actions in Gaza have intensified, with a significant focus on targeting medical infrastructure. Al-Ahli Hospital, the last fully operational medical facility in Gaza City, was targeted, resulting in casualties and the forced evacuation of patients and staff.
The hospital was under immense strain, having already treated a large number of wounded individuals. Prior to the direct targeting, the hospital experienced days of bombardment in its vicinity, significantly disrupting its operations. The recent attack directly on the hospital exacerbated the existing humanitarian crisis, further crippling Gaza’s healthcare system and leaving vulnerable patients without essential medical care.
