Campus Cinema Clash

The documentary “The Encampments,” which chronicles the wave of student-led protests against Israel’s actions in Gaza, was screened at Wilson Plaza, attracting approximately 200 protesters. The film focuses on the encampments that have sprung up on college campuses across the United States in response to the ongoing conflict. These encampments are presented as a form of protest against what the filmmakers and protesters describe as a genocidal assault by Israel on the Palestinian people. The screening served as a gathering point for individuals supportive of the Palestinian cause and critical of Israeli policies, providing a platform to share information, express solidarity, and mobilize further action.
