Thessaloniki Bombing: Woman’s Fatal Cargo

A woman in upstate New York died after a device she was carrying exploded in her car. The incident occurred in the town of Porter, near the Canadian border. The woman, identified as 28-year-old Heather Ibson, was found dead in her vehicle after deputies responded to a report of an explosion.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the device detonated, leading to Ibson’s death. The bomb disposal unit, along with the FBI, were called to the scene to investigate. Authorities secured the area and determined that there was no ongoing threat to the public.

While the investigation is still underway, preliminary findings suggest that Ibson was carrying the device when it exploded. Law enforcement officials are working to determine the motive and purpose behind Ibson carrying the explosive device. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
