California Crash: Three Lives Lost

A pilot was killed when a small, single-engine plane crashed in a wooded area near the Flying J Travel Plaza in Marion County, Florida, on Sunday afternoon. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash site, located off Interstate 75.

The pilot, who was the only occupant of the aircraft, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the pilot’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
