Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters announced the arrests of four suspects in connection to a brutal battery that occurred on December 26, 2023, at a gas station on the city’s Northside. The victim, an unidentified man, was severely beaten, resulting in life-threatening injuries.
The suspects, identified as Tyree Figgener, Jaquez Jones, Jontavious Hall, and Shemiah Williams, face charges of aggravated battery and gang-related offenses. The Sheriff stated the suspects are confirmed members of the “LBlock” gang, a local street gang known for violence in the Jacksonville area.
The investigation revealed that the attack was premeditated and stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the victim and the suspects.
