Roberson’s Reprieve

Rob Roberson, a Texas death row inmate, received a stay of execution from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals just before his scheduled execution. Roberson’s conviction relied heavily on evidence related to Shaken Baby Syndrome, a medical diagnosis that has come under increasing scrutiny and been largely discredited by some medical professionals.
